  1. As someone who's used both phones I can tell you that you get what you pay for. Yes the Stylo 4 is cheap. The Blu phone is higher-priced. Because its a better phone on almost all accounts (if you really really want the stylus, I guess the Stylo 4 has an edge there).
There simply is no comparison. The camera is light years better on the Blu. Its just delusional to think otherwise. Like seriously what?!
Less storage capability on the Stylo 4, and noticeably less memory. The Stylo 4 starts out just fine but get in a month or more and youre looking at ridiculous drops in performance (the Stylo as it is now takes like ten seconds to unlock for me). The 2gb of RAM is embarrassing.
Btw the Blue freezing up in the video is an absolute aberrance. Ive been using it for months and have never seen it happen. And its laughable when compared to the Stylo 4 (which freezes up constantly because of its underpowered processer and RAM).
Look beyond the price tag. If you look objectively, Blu Vivo XI+ is just a better phone. Obviously if you need a cheaper phone go with the Stylo 4. But if you have the money, the choice is easy.

EDIT: also, have fun trying to game on the LG Stylo 4.
Also also, its important to note that the discounted price for Stylo 4 is only through Metro. And its with a new number port in. Metro sells this phone otherwise for 239. And thats pretty much standard price everywhere.

  2. Also, i can attest that the battery life on the stylo 4 is good. One full charge will last you a day. With moderate use (browsing, listening to music, watching YouTube) i still have 40% by the end of the day.

  3. Watching on stylo 4… Based on my experience, this phone isnt a bad phone, i just wish it had more ram (i have a 2gb ram) and it lags sometimes due to lack of ram. Another thing i noticed is the camera, its subpar compare to other competitors but hey you do get what you pay for. If you're looking for a budget phone that does the job (call, text, simple internet browsing) i recommend this phone.

  4. Does anyone know how to change the position of the lock screen notifications for the LG Stylo 4? Mines shifted to the middle/bottom of the screen and I don't know how to get them back to the top

  5. 👍keeping it real and honest. I expect that freezing issue will be addressed in an update. They have said updates and fewer model releases are the new policy.

  6. I still have my LG Stylo 4 from MetroPCS and I love it but I do multitasking a lot and do business on the go so the lack of ram (only 2GB ram on MetroPCS version) caught up to me so I had to switch out my daily driver. Currently using a Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra now which has 4GB ram and I love it, perhaps my favorite food stamp phone of all time LOL. I actually thought about picking up the Blu Vivo XI+ cause it was on display at the Best Buy where I picked up my XA2 Ultra but I wanted to play it safe cause Sony is the more established company. And seeing the Blu Vivo freeze up on you in this video makes me feel like I made the right choice. Also, Sony does keep their software close to stock Android so that's another thing I like about my XA2 Ultra. Anyways, another great comparison video as always 👍🏽

  7. If I were looking for a budget device I'd just buy a year old flagship….even a two year old flagship has more horsepower and features than either of these devices. The LG Stylo does have NFC but no wireless charging and it does have 5ghz Wifi. While the Blu Vivo has wireless charging but no NFC and doesn't have 5Ghz Wifi And to make a comparison The Note 5 has all of that and more…A better single camera than both of these devices and the best display in the business and a Note 5 can be bought for $175 in mint condition. Devices like the LG and the BLU simply come up short. My money would go to an older flagship if I wanted to get a backup device. And the Note 5 doesn't have an obtrusive annoying notch either.
